This school is owned by Barb Richards (an AAofC member) and Frank Stapleton and is held every February and August at the Days Inn in Barrie, Ontario.
This auction program will provide you with all the valuable strategies for a successful auction career.
The next course is January 27 - February 1, 2007. The August dates will be posted when finalized.
You will enjoy the intense activity filled week, learning the basic requirements of developing your auction career, while learning bid calling and personalizing your chant.
Several hours will be spent on interesting exercises that develop the unique engaging verbal skills of an auctioneer.
On the business side, experienced auctioneers, college professors and guest speakers will share their secrets to success.

The school, Canada's original auction school, holds three classes per year, in Westlock, Alberta.
There are classes in March, August and November.
Although Alberta Learning requires a minimum 80 hour course, At Western Canadian School of Auctioneering you will receive 90 plus hours of instruction.
The school prides itself on teaching not only Auctioneering,
but the Auction Business, as well. This includes Sales, Marketing,
Promotion, Advertising, Trust Accounts and The Fair Trade Act.
The cost of each course is $2,195 CDN and students may pay a $150 deposit
to hold their place in class, another $700 upon registration, and the balance

Also, under the income tax act, GST is not payable on the tuition amount.
The school is owned and operated by Delton Wolff, a veteran Auctioneer and a Director and long time member in good standing of the Auctioneers Association of Canada.
