Seminar Presenters Seminar Attendees Fun Auction & Dinner
Auction Venue - Hume's Auction Farm Championship Competition Competition Dinner
The Seminar Presenters
One aim of each Convention is to provide educational seminars, professionally presented, and aimed at helping auctioneers gain new insight into their profession and give them more tools to promote success in their businesses. And again this year we had excellent seminar presenters who covered a wide range of information.
This year's Seminars were extremely well received by the Seminar attendees, and very well attended. A common comment after the seminars were completed was to the effect that every seminar offered something for everybody, and anyone who didn't take something away from each seminar that could be applied in a practical way to their own business just wasn't listening! The Seminar Presenters are shown below.

| Tim Hogan's seminar, Thursday, September 27/07, 8:30am |
Tim Hogan, a lawyer with the law firm Harrison Pensa of London, ON, presenting his seminar "Insolvency Law 101 for Auctioneers - What you need to know to get the sale and complete the sale liability free." Tim has previously presented excellent ICCA classes for members of the AA of C. He certainly has this group thinking!

Sandy Kemp's seminar, Friday, September 28/07, 8:30am |
Sandy Kemp, is President of Action Business Development Inc and an ActionCOACH Gold Master Business Coach. His seminar was on "How to Make Your Next 12 Months Your Best Ever!" An excellent speaker, his seminar and the written materials the attendees got to take home with them should prove invaluable for their business prospects this year!

Hugh J. Cameron's seminar, Friday, September 28/07, 1:00pm |
Hugh J. Cameron is both an auctioneer and lawyer, and a partner with the Fredericton law office of Stewart McKelvey, Barristers & Solicitors. His seminar topic was "This is the Law or, Gee, I wish I knew that before I ended up in Court!" The valuable insight he provided will definitely help those who attended to avioid the disputes and conflicts that can arise between an auctioneer, a consignor and/or buyer if the auctioneer isn't on his or her toes! Pres. Hoss Bertrand presented long time AAofC member Hugh Cameron with an AAofC 25th Anniversary jacket!
WE WOULD LIKE TO EXPRESS OUR EXTREME GRATITUDE TO THESE GREAT SEMINAR PRESENTERS FOR THEIR TIME AND EFFORT IN MAKING THESE SEMINARS A SUCCESS!
